It started in Naples' second-hand markets, me digging through piles of old, second hand jeans, t-shirt, shoes and jackets mostly imported from USA or Germany. I was always looking for the most worn ones, felt to me to have somehow someone else story with me. I reworked them by hand: adding patches, stencils, prints, odd buttons, even adding to trousers parts of old Converse shoes stitched right in. Every piece was a one-off mash-up. Nothing got repeated.

My personal habit was to wear those creations at parties, eventually friends and friends of friends started noticing and requesting customised pieces till it became a project:
Funked Factory Handmade.
Fabrics became my canvas, I sold online and at pop-ups. Every piece shipped in a custom handmade pizza box not just packaging, but a real preview of what was inside.

What began as a playful obsession turned into a small brand.
