PayPal Christmas and summer games

PayPal Germany asked us to create a digital Advent Calendar. I proposed evolving it into “PayPal Xmas Games”, a social media campaign combining daily games, live sessions, and giveaways to boost engagement and showcase PayPal’s buyer protection.

Running from Dec 1–24, the campaign featured daily Facebook challenges (posts or live streams), open to users 18+ in DACH. Participants completed fun tasks for a chance to win prizes (up to 61 prizes, worth up to €500). A bold, festive visual system and playful live formats drove strong daily participation and organic reach.

Due to its success, we adapted the concept for Summer games, refreshing the visuals and themes around travel and outdoor activities. The summer edition performed even better, proving the format’s scalability across seasons.
